Compliance is a game of complexity and frameworks. The relationship between misconduct and organizational culture, for instance, is complex, and that is not including the overlay of industry, local, national and international cultures. In a guest article, senior advisor Hui Chen and senior lab consultant Caitlin Handron from the R&G Insights Lab at Ropes & Gray discuss how a compliance program can offer frameworks to create order and encourage or discourage certain behaviors. They tackle two complex subjects – compliance and culture – and provide frameworks to help make sense of them.
