Germany’s New Whistleblower Act Goes Beyond E.U. Directive With Unique Requirements

Ethics and compliance teams should be looking carefully at the applicability requirements, carefully crafted definitions and time-bound requirements in the German Whistleblower Protection Act (Act), known in German as Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz – HinSchG, which was passed on May 12, 2023, and took effect on July 2, 2023.
