NewAge Looks to Complete Winddown Following Sale in Chapter 11, Caused in Part by FCPA Investigation Expenses

FCPA investigations often have significant repercussions beyond the ultimate fines and penalties, such as collateral litigation and investigation costs. Health and nutritional products NewAge cited its FCPA investigation as one of the factors contributing to its bankruptcy. Its FCPA issues arose in a familiar context – after a merger.
