“Quid Pro Quote” and Other Corruption Risks in the Sports, Media and Entertainment Industry

The sports, media and entertainment (SM&E) industry has become a critical piece of the global economy and a key focus of both consumer and regulatory pressure. Once easily discernable lines between sports, news and entertainment are now blurred. The Anti-Corruption Report recently spoke with Shelita Stewart, a partner at Hogan Lovells, who, until recently, was counsel at Comcast Corporation, where she managed corporate compliance across the company’s global subsidiaries Xfinity, NBCUniversal and Sky.
