Through its efforts to enforce Sapin II’s affirmative obligation that certain companies adopt and implement effective anti-corruption programs, the Agence française anticorruption (the AFA) has the potential to introduce generational change to France’s anti-corruption enforcement landscape and the way that French companies manage compliance.
