2017 has been a year of change in many arenas, and anti-corruption enforcement is no exception. The number of corporate settlements is down from 2016, but there has been a significant increase in individual prosecutions and the level of international cooperation. At ACI’s 34th Annual International Conference on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, officials from both the SEC and DOJ discussed the year that was and what is to come from FCPA enforcement.
