In recent years, significant progress has been made in the fight against corruption in Mexico, but the COVID‑19 pandemic has complicated the landscape and added new risks, panelists at SCCE’s 20th Annual Compliance & Ethics Institute explained. The experts from Mexican law firms, consulting firms and business groups argued that, despite the evolving corruption landscape in Mexico, companies need not shy away from doing business there, so long as key areas of risk are identified and accounted for.
