Neil T. Smith has joined K&L Gates as a partner in its investigations, enforcement and white collar practice in Boston, the firm recently announced. Smith joins from the SEC, where he was Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division’s FCPA Unit and served as the primary attorney on cases involving extensive bribery by an international hedge fund operating in Africa, as well as illegal hiring practices by an investment bank in Asia.
