Experts Discuss the Corruption Climate in India and Give Six Practical Tips to Mitigate Risk

With a population of over 1.2 billion, extensive technical expertise, and one of the world’s largest economies, India is hard for multinational businesses to ignore. Unfortunately, corruption, despite nascent efforts to combat it, remains endemic. The presentation featured Jay Holtmeier, a partner at WilmerHale, Elizabeth D. Keating, vice president and counsel at Johnson Controls, Inc., and Michael Stavridis, a partner at EY. See “Regional Risk Spotlight: Jay Holtmeier of WilmerHale Explains How to Navigate Bureaucratic Corruption Risks in India” (Sep. 23, 2015).
